EDT Presents Technical Paper at TAPPI/PIMA Conference, PaperCon08 Dallas, Texas
EDT will present a technical paper at the TAPPI/PIMA Conference, PaperCon08 in Dallas, Texas on May 6, 2008. EDT's paper titled, "Application of Enzymatic Technologies for Improving Product Quality, Mill Efficiency, and Production Cost Savings", deals with a variety of strategies employed by EDT in the application of enzyme-based technologies to improve pulp and paper production in printing and writing grades. These will cover technologies used for both virgin and recycled paper production.

This conference will be the first time the three industry organizations - PIMA International Leadership, TAPPI Papermakers and TAPPI Coating & Graphic Arts - join together for this event, creating an exciting learning and networking opportunity.

PaperCon '08 will focus on Sustainable Profits and Performance for the pulp, paper and board industry. The PIMA program provides the latest strategic thinking and management practices delivered by leading paper industry experts. TAPPI's technical program provides peer-reviewed papers covering the most recent advances in papermaking and coating, and how they will improve operations. The technical program also provides panel discussions and case histories for a more practical insight. All sessions are open to all attendees, allowing you to choose for yourself the topics most applicable to you and your company.

Founded in 1994, Enzymatic Deinking Technologies, LLC (EDT) is a pioneer and leader in the development and commercialization of enzyme-based treatments for the pulp and paper industry.
